 General Accountant

Key Accountabilities:

• Maintenance of the integrity and accuracy of transaction recording (journals, adjustments, allocations, I/Co operations) on a daily basis.
• The periodic closing of the statutory books for the serviced subsidiary in accordance with the period end schedule.
• Creation and issuance of related Financial Statements after any appropriate eliminations or consolidations, together with the provision of selected government information.
• Responsibility for approval of the subsidiary statutory accounts will remain with local Finance.

• Manage the Order to Invoice process within CP Best Practice standards (“Essentials”), including:
  • Create manual orders (non-revenue or revenue) by request and by exception.
  • Manage order creation issues and Order acknowledgement.
  • Order Validation, Order maintenance, and Delivery Creation.
  • Utilize TMS to consolidate orders / deliveries into optimized shipments (where applicable).
  • Cooperate with Logistics (either of CP internal or 3PL) so orders / deliveries can be consolidated into optimized shipments (where applicable).
  • Follow up on Delivery exceptions, including refusals avoidance and returns order creation (after approved request).

• Manage the Order to Invoice process within CP Best Practice standards (“Essentials”), including:

• Develop brand growth strategies for the region (CEE), tailoring the global strategy to local markets, consumer specificities, and insights, and cooperate with Brand teams in central EU marketing to finalize support for the brand/sub-brand.
• Lead the integration of the countries and other functions' needs, confirming with them the details of the commercial activity plans.
• Leverage knowledge of market dynamics, consumers & shoppers, and competitors to enhance competitiveness and accelerate business growth for the assigned subcategories.

• Passionate, motivated university student who has completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Marketing or Business/Economics.
• Fluent in English, with other European languages being a plus.
• Teamwork spirit, curiosity, energy, and a positive attitude. Flexibility to adapt and manage ambiguity.
• Creative thinking, highly organized, with the ability to work across cultures and in remote teams.

• Within the Supply Planning role:
  • Responsible for balancing demand and supply for a portfolio of items within a category, by performing Daily and Weekly Supply Planning Cycles, ensuring:
    • Product availability at the Distribution Centre.
    • Right inventory levels.
    • Synchronized execution of new product introductions and product transitions.
  • Balances service versus costs in making daily supply-demand balancing decisions, using system alerts to identify and resolve potential supply issues.

• Manage the Order to Invoice process within CP Best Practice standards (“Essentials”), including:
  • Create manual orders (non-revenue or revenue) by request and by exception.
  • Manage order creation issues and Order acknowledgement.
  • Order Validation, Order maintenance, and Delivery Creation.
  • Utilize TMS to consolidate orders / deliveries into optimized shipments (where applicable).
  • Cooperate with Logistics (either of CP internal or 3PL) so orders / deliveries can be consolidated into optimized shipments (where applicable).
  • Follow up on Delivery exceptions, including refusals avoidance and returns order creation (after approved request).
  • Issue invoice follow-up.

• Grow the quality first-party data database, both consumer & professional, managing acquisition campaigns, collaborating with CRM and media/social agencies, and third-party vendors to offer consumers value exchanges.
• Ensure the database is organized and data is segmented into clear audience groups that can be leveraged to improve media efficiency.
• Produce dynamic, aesthetically pleasing newsletters and generate tailored reports.
• Design and deploy email marketing campaigns, create HTML email templates, monitor email quality, and test templates and emails to ensure compatibility across different email clients.
