Indirect Tax Lead Analyst – Central and Eastern Europe
What You’ll Do
This role reports directly to the Indirect Tax Manager for Europe (excluding France) and is responsible for supervising all Indirect Tax (VAT) activities across 11 Central and Eastern European countries, including Poland, Romania, Hungary, Czech Republic, Estonia, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Latvia, Serbia, and Slovakia.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating and managing periodic VAT reporting for Eaton businesses in the region with support from Eaton Operations and Pune VAT COE.
- Ensuring timely preparation and submission of VAT returns and payments in compliance with Eaton VAT Controls Framework.
- Reviewing documentation and transactions for accurate monthly VAT filings.
- Identifying and managing VAT accounting, compliance, and reporting risks.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in Indirect Tax (VAT), ideally in Poland and other countries in scope, within a multinational corporation or a Big 4/consultancy firm.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Tax. Professional accounting or tax qualification is a significant asset.
Skills
- In-depth knowledge of VAT regulations, particularly in Poland and other applicable countries, as well as EU VIDA initiatives.
- Expertise in tax audits, including direct communication with Tax Authorities.
- Familiarity with Tax Technology, ERP systems (SAP preferred), and business process improvements.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to manage complex topics and engage with multiple departments effectively.
Technical Sales and Customer Success Leader – Europe
Responsibilities
- Define, plan, and lead technical sales and customer success initiatives across Europe.
- Drive growth for thermal monitoring solutions in collaboration with the Regional Sales Leader and Technical Support Team.
- Deliver technical pre- and post-sales support, including on-site client visits.
- Prepare technical designs and client proposals using company standards, building strong client relationships.
