Job Description:

What will your day look like:

As a member of the FP&A team, you will take on all financial aspects related to revenue and assist in validating key cost drivers. You will:

  • Review contractual terms and ensure that revenue recognition is performed correctly according to IFRS 15.
  • Analyze revenue development per customer during the monthly close and review deviations from forecast/budget.


  • Drive process improvement initiatives and ensure strong controls regarding the completeness and accuracy of revenue recognition.
  • Assist in the creation of revenue recognition policies and procedures at the group level.
  • Act as a sparring partner for group and local accounting, order management, billing, sales, and delivery regarding revenue recognition and reporting.
  • Support revenue forecasting and analyze the conversion of bookings into revenue.

What do you need to fulfill the role:

  • You have a completed university degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. A professional accounting certification is desirable.
  • You bring over 5 years of experience in controlling or accounting. Experience with one of the Big4 and knowledge of SaaS business models are advantages.
  • You possess very good Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with NetSuite, Salesforce, and LucaNet is a plus.
  • You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • You speak fluent English and ideally good German.
  • You feel comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment.
