Housing Options Officers

Job Introduction
Want to help support people in resolving their housing problems? We are looking for enthusiastic Housing Options Officers to join our dynamic and innovative team, providing housing advice and support to residents facing housing challenges. Experience in working with people in an advisory or problem-solving capacity is required, and we offer opportunities for training and professional development.


This role will challenge you daily, utilizing your excellent customer service and problem-solving skills within a supportive and motivated team, helping people in often complex and difficult situations, including homelessness. This role involves working in an office, in the community, and at home, requiring face-to-face contact with customers.

Key Responsibilities

If you can:

  • Communicate effectively to understand a customer’s needs and resolve their housing situation.
  • Take a holistic approach to problem-solving customer needs.
  • Manage a caseload effectively while handling competing demands.
  • Collaborate with residents, other services, and colleagues to find lasting solutions.
  • Understand homelessness prevention and support, proactively working to prevent housing crises. Then we want to hear from you!
