We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic Master Data Specialist to join our team!

About the Role

As a Master Data Specialist, you will be responsible for securing valid product data for supply chain flow and supporting the acquisition of data from relevant sources for new product launches. You will handle requests for product creation (new products, as well as updates of existing ones) across multiple business functions, systems, and applications.

This role will play a pivotal part in managing product master data and ensuring that our product information is properly organized, accurate, consistent, and up-to-date across all systems and processes. Additionally, you will play a critical part in optimizing, streamlining, and enforcing data processes and procedures to support business operations, decision-making, and compliance.

In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Logistics, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and IT to drive data quality and governance in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

What You Will Do

Master Data Management

  • Maintain and manage product master data in SAP with help from HQ office to ensure high-quality, up-to-date master data in line with company standards.
  • Participate in new product launch projects to set up materials in SAP and Validoo in line with supplier systems and market guidelines for respective channels (wholesale, monopoly, and retail).

Data Quality & Governance

  • Develop and enforce material master data standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Monitor data quality and conduct root cause analysis for material master data-related issues and implement corrective actions.

System & Process Optimization

  • Support the implementation of new systems, tools, or processes related to material master data management.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements to enhance data accuracy and efficiency.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Generate regular reports on material master data accuracy, completeness, and adherence to KPIs.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for material master data processes and workflows.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Act as the central point of contact for master data inquiries and changes.
  • Work with stakeholders (e.g., Product Coordinators, Marketing, Sales, Logistics, Finance, HQ, and IT) to ensure alignment on data requirements and support business processes.
  • Provide training and support to teams on material master data processes and best practices.

Who You Are

The ideal candidate will be hands-on, deeply involved in data processes, and passionate about maintaining high data quality standards. We are primarily looking for the potential for future top performances. While we emphasize future potential, the following requirements are key to success in this role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in product/material master data management and experience in FMCG operations.
  • Proficiency in SAP, Validoo, and data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, etc.).
  • Familiarity with GS1 quality assurance requirements and process flow for Retail (Monopoly is a merit) is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Solera is the place for you if you share with us the idea that it's refreshing to be in a workplace where:
