The Role: Due to continued expansion and growing demand, EDB is seeking an experienced Enterprise Account Executive for the UK region, based remotely. Reporting directly to the Regional Sales Director UK&I, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic and tactical sales plans, managing customer relationships, and prospecting new accounts in key sectors including banking, financial services, consumer, and retail markets.
Responsibilities:
- Meet and exceed sales quota through outbound/inbound leads and strategic selling of EDB’s products to key decision-makers.
- Generate and grow new ARR license revenue in assigned accounts and territory.
- Utilize solution-selling methodologies to sell EDB’s solutions.
- Develop and maintain sales plans, metrics, and strategy to meet annual sales targets.
- Qualify and cultivate leads from various sources including trade shows and marketing efforts.
- Build strong customer relationships leading to new growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with Sales Engineers to present demos and assessments.
- Execute strategic and tactical sales activities from opportunity identification to contract signing.
- Provide disciplined and accurate forecasting and reporting within Salesforce & Clari.
- Manage the oversight of cross-functional teams to ensure client success.
- Collaborate within a matrix team structure to execute a regional GTM strategy.
Candidate Profile & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of enterprise software sales experience.
- Proven track record in business development, executive-level influence, and exceptional communication skills.
- Strong acumen in technology with the ability to articulate the solution value proposition.
- Self-motivated with a passion for success and delivering results.
- Strong planning, preparation, and presentation skills for executive meetings.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Proficiency with productivity tools like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce.com.
- Travel required up to 50%.
